Good things happen in Stockton and CSJ recognised this at their 2022 awards celebration in London this year.

We are truly honoured and humbled to win. Following the success of the evening we were even luckier, we had listening ears, MPs and policy makers around is hearing us champion the work we need to continue as times get tougher for our beneficiaries.

Brian was able to be our guy’s advocates speaking about Methadone and pointing out the need for dealing with the root causes of addiction. We were invited back to CSJ on Tuesday to discuss further our views to assist overall recovery from Addiction.

We met some wonderful people and passionate people about their Charities.

Thank you, Centre of Social Justice, together we are making a difference.

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for our work following our CSJ Award. It feels like we’re at the start of a new chapter in changing lives.

The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service

What an honour and privilege to receive The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (the MBE for volunteer groups) in recognition of the hard work of all our volunteers and staff, in making The Moses Project what it is today. We especially love how this award highlights our volunteers.

Our charity operates by creating a safe place built on relationships and trust, where the men we help feel seen, feel hope, and feel loved. Every day our volunteers show up with smiles and big hearts for the sometimes-challenging work, but also to see the life changing transformations they’ve played a key role in.

Ultimately, it’s the relationships we build that make the good things happen. Here’s to all our volunteers and every other award winner in the voluntary sector!

The Lord Lieutenant Susan Snowdon

What a day we had on Wednesday! The Lord Lieutenant Susan Snowdon paid us a visit to present our Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. We couldn’t do what we do without our wonderful volunteers, so it was a special day spent with them, some of our benefactors, supporters, trustees and of course just a few of the men we help.

Check out the last pic – one of our volunteers made that fantastic cake! We truly are blessed and … I may have got a little emotional on stage, it’s a day none of us will forget.
